Tropical Tourist

Its easy to spot the typical tourist from miles away. They are most often the ones in khaki shorts, wearing a hat with an elastic chin band, and a tropical patterned shirt with a camera strapped around their neck. I can’t help but cringe slightly every time I see them. However, lately I’ve been leaning towards the tropical print variety, albeit without the cargo paints and teva sandals. My take on the typical tropical tourist is much more subdued, and might even have you fitting in with the locals! I wore this outfit sightseeing in Sicily, and loved the breeziness of it, while managing to look like a better version of the typical tourist.
