I’ve finally found the perfect shirt.
Or more like, it found me.
I was approached by a colleague who told me about her friend’s clothing company, roz + loki. I agreed to meet the designer behind the brand, Roz Tambyln, who told me about the Kickstarter campaign she was about to launch featuring her new line of redesigned collared shirts. Roz said she had taken everything a woman loves about her classic collared shirt, without all the things she doesn’t.
After getting a dress shirt of my own, I completely understood.
I love the look of a crisp white dress shirt. The issue was, I could never really wear one comfortably. They never fit quite right – always making me look boxy and feeling uncomfortable.
Enter roz + loki. Their dress shirts are made of this super soft stretchy cotton. They nip in at the waist, and flare out slightly at the bottom (aka curve-centric). With extra buttons that are closer together, the shirt no longer gapes at the bust, a problem I always self-consciously seemed to have. Lastly (and this might just be the most genius part), there’s extra fabric at the underarm so stains won’t show!
I love that the shirts are all manufactured here locally in Canada, and that a proceed of the sale goes towards a children’s charity. It really is a win-win.
roz + loki is currently available via Kickstarter here.
