If there is a pink wall I will find it.
So when an entirely pink hotel pops up in my Mexican trip planning search, I was sold.
The Rosas & Xocolate Hotel in Merida, Mexico was enough of a destination to turn my originally-planned all-beach vacation into a road trip just to make a pitstop at this place. And am I ever glad I did. Not only is the hotel itself gorgeous, the city of Merida is definitely worth going out of your way to experience for atleast a few days.

Our suite featured the comfiest King bed, a lounge area, his and her vanity, and the best part – an outdoor soaker tub, which was definitely taken advantage of. I also loved lounging by the pool while reading one of the many art and travel books from the library (and caught a few other guests napping beside me!).
Breakfast was served a la carte in the hotel’s restaurant and it was divine. We chose to have ours in the outdoor courtyard, and it was the perfect start to the morning.
