Malta’s Pink Magazine bi-annual Fashion Show was recently held at the stunning venue of Villa Rosa.
Featuring well-known designers and brands and their ready-to-wear collections, the summer 2016 edition of the show was the perfect mix of fashion meets summer soiree. Produced by Pink Magazine’s editor-in-chief Fiona Galea Debono, and styled by Marisa Grima, the audience was treated to a series of summery looks from breezy dresses to beach ware.
For the evening, I turned to the newest and hottest label in town, Freeze Frame Fashion. Before I had even met owners Rey and Natasha Meli, I had my eye on the magenta pink faux fur jacket I had seen in their window multiple times. (Luckily for all of those not in the near vicinity of Malta, their affordable designs are also available online here.) Paired classically with white trousers and a metallic leatherette crop top, the outfit was given a dose of whimsy with the addition of a fun watermelon clutch. While this may not be an every day look, the Pink Fashion Show was the perfect opportunity to try out something different and unique. I felt like a flamingo, in a good way.
