Monday’s Mood

Happy Monday lovelies. Can you believe it’s already March? Thankfully, (hopefully) Spring is just around the corner, and I am so looking forward to daily swims, eating al fresco, and getting my tan back. Recently, Malta has been overcast with atypical daily showers and storms for the past few weeks. Although the forecast for the weekend also promised rain, we took advantage of blue skies (for a split second) to do some exploring in a part of the island we hadn’t yet been. We also indulged in a delicious Michelin Star-meal with friends by a visiting Sicilian chef at one of my favourite restaurants, Rampila, within the city walls of Valletta. Sunday was happily spent working away, getting in a workout, followed by a leisurely hottub session, and Lebanese food. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend, and I hope yours was too! Here were my favourite things from the past few days:

The best coffee I’ve had yet on the island outside the famous Mosta dome.

Coffee Circus Mosta

The interior of said dome. The Rotunda of Mosta is infamous for a bomb that broke through the dome during WWII, but never went off and the replica sits inside the building.

Mosta Dome

Thick Oreo Milkshakes for the win.

Mollys Mosta

Sunday mornings well spent with fresh flowers, coffee, candles, and Porter magazine.

Morning Coffee & Porter Mag

The best discovery: Red Velvet Cake that reminds me of home from The Cake Box.
