Monday’s Mood

The first week back to work after quite an extended holiday was an adjustment, to say the least. I was so looking forward to relaxing at home, but was also equally looking forward to doing some exploring outside my weekday radius that includes my walk to and from work. Thankfully, this past weekend included both. Friday eve was low key, and by Saturday I was eager to get back into the gym for a much needed butt-kicking after a week of sitting. After some delicious post-dinner cocktails that night, we then spent Sunday with friends at Malta’s Citrus Festival and seeing some sights. This week I’m hoping I feel more settled, and getting a big chunk of the seemingly never-ending “to-do” list done.

Here were a few of my favourite things from the weekend:

Pre-workout sun.

Balluta Bay Malta

Discovering this slightly creepy stone head in St. Paul’s Catacombs (although the actual human bones were creepier…)

A few of my favourite things: Giant Bando gem speaker, blasting Bey, Valentine’s gummies, and wine.

Watching bread being baked, behind the scenes.

Loving the two-point perspective of these two images together: the left inside a Covenant in Rabat, and the right a classic view down a narrow Maltese street.

Have a wonderful week!
