Feeling Festive

As we approach nearer and nearer to Christmas, I can’t help but lack the festive spirit that usually fills me this time of year. Still wearing summer dresses, shorts and short-sleeve shirts probably has something to do with it. So this weekend we made a conscious effort to get more into a festive mood, which you may or may not have seen via my Instagram. We went to a local Christmas Market, watched my all-time favourite festive film, Love Actually, while eating roasted chestnuts and sipping hot cocoa, and ended our weekend at a nearby bar’s Christmas party, complete with mulled wine, lots of sequins, and red lipstick. Here are a few of my favourite things that got me feeling festive these past couple of days:

Prickly Pear (a local fruit) + Prossecco cocktails to kick off the weekend.

Upper Barrakka Gardens as the sun sets is the most magical place (note: I was super hot in this outfit)!
