Moved Back to Malta

Hello from Malta!

We’ve moved back on Friday, and instantly felt back at home. It was a balmy 18°C as we stepped off the plane into the evening, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Since arriving back it’s as if I’ve been seeing Malta in a whole new light, noticing things I never seemed to before (even though I’ve “seen” them countless times), and discovering beautiful things at every turn. Living away from the island for a few months has made me appreciate it all the more now that we are back.

We spent the weekend getting settled in our old flat, checking out new restaurants and shops that have just opened up, and sharing a bottle of Prosecco and cookies on the rocks at sunset with friends. Its been bliss! Here’s a few of my favourite things from the weekend:

Eating our last meal of all our favourite Ukrainian things.

Waterfront walks before sitting on the rocks with some Prosseco & friends.

A symbol of our previous home in our current one: a Ukrainian flag hung on a Maltese balcony.

Back to making my favourite snack of cheese & meat platters.

Sliema Waterfront sunsets take my breath away.

Suffice to say, I am beyond glad to be back!
