A Week Playing Tourist

It is our last couple of days here in Malta (for now, more on that to come!), and we’ve been soaking up everything possible. With my family visiting us, we’ve taken them around the entire island to re-experience all of our favourite things.  Although both my mother and I have caught some sort of temporary nasty bug, the memories we have made this past week will last forever. Here are a few of the ways we spent our last week on the island:

Sipping Aperol Spritzes on a hot (but breezy) patio.Aperol Spritz

Taking a sunset boat ride across the harbour towards Birgu.Birgu Boat

We’ve been patiently waiting our entire time here for our neighbourhood Festa to commence and the time has finally arrived!Balluta Festa

Enjoying High Tea at Palazzo Parisio, where Oprah herself once did.High Tea

Watching J jump off the cliffs of Xlendi Bay.Xlendi Bay

Viewing the Oscar-Winning film Kon Tiki in the most magical setting at Valletta’s open-air theatre.Open Air Theatre

A last meal with friends that we’ve been fortunate enough to make while here, whom we will miss dearly! The Harbour Club
