6 Months Living Abroad

Tomorrow marks our 6 month anniversary abroad. It’s hard to believe we’ve already been living away from home for half a year, and what a whirlwind adventure it has been! In that time we’ve lived in two countries, beginning with Malta for a few months, and ending in Ukraine for the second half. Today we move back to Malta, as we missed the sun and the sea! So far we have visited 6 countries, and are itching to see more. Who knows what the next 6 months will bring, and where we’ll be by our one-year anniversary abroad. I only hope I am fortunate enough to be in another foreign land, learning the ways of a new culture, language, and landscape. Here’s a chronological look back at the past 6 months abroad:

May 1: Arrive in Malta.

May 7: Move into our beautiful new neighbourhood, Balluta Bay.



May 17: Visit the island of Gozo (and where the first season of Game of Thrones was filmed!)
